China White In Champagne & Gold Limited Edition Artwork

Description

Louise Hill: This special Limited Edition version of my ‘China White’ design features lots of added little foiled details in 3 colours, vintage gold, sparkly Champagne and Antique Silver. I really enjoyed adding these precious details to this design to highlight the metallic subject matter in the artwork, the metallics catch the light and add an extra effervescent dimension!

I love to work in bright colours as my life is full of vibrant colour and energy.. but as part of our busy lives we also treasure our quiet moments, the complementary opposites of Yin and Yang that make up everyday life in Asia. So for this design I wanted to create a peaceful composition, a calming delicate and gentle piece that still includes all of my much loved vintage imagery that comes from China, Hong Kong, Singapore and South east Asia. I spend many weeks taking photos outdoors, taking inspiration from daily life and the beautiful cultural places that I come across. I love to spend time collecting vintage fabrics, buttons, ribbons, tea flasks, tiffins, ceramics .. all of which fill my studio cupboards and shelves to the brim, each waiting for their turn to feature in one of my designs!

Hand finished in antique gold foil. Printed onto 310gsm Hahnemuhle German Etching Paper, this print is signed, numbered and stamped with a Louise Hill Design ‘blind embossing stamp’ on the front. Each print also includes a 'Certificate of Authenticity' sticker sealed with my gold foil logo, embossed stamp, signature and edition number for attaching to the back of the print once framed.
